Geniox+ Air Handlers – Systemair
Variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems most often do not provide fresh and filtered air, so using them in combination with an energy recovery ventilation (ERV) system is essential to protecting IAQ and meeting code requirements. Traditionally, VRF systems are shipped in parts and pieces, separate from the air handler, and the contractor will have to determine where to mount the system and how to integrate it with controls and lines. Expanded Sun Premier Rooftop Units – York
Through its York® brand, Johnson Controls has expanded its line of premium commercial rooftop units, which are now available in 25-80 ton with new, dynamic features. The expanded York Sun™ Premier platform is designed to offer contractors faster installation and simplified startup while providing building owners with efficiency levels that significantly reduce operational costs over the life of the unit. To simplify system configuration and minimize startup time, units feature startup wizards, a 5.5-inch OLED display, and an optimized numeric keypad, which are standard on all units. This can be upgraded to the optional new high-end graphical user interface, which features a full-color touchscreen that provides quick access to system status, performance metrics, and schedule parameters.

J-IV and J-IVs Airstage Single-Phase VRF Systems – Fujitsu General America Inc.
Fujitsu General America Inc. has released the new, single-phase J-IV and J-IVs Airstage VRF heat pump systems to replace the J-II and J-IIs lines. The systems serve heating and cooling applications between 3- and 5-ton capacities, making them ideal for the residential and light commercial markets. The new air-to-air heat pumps feature expanded heating operation ranges, offering powerful heating capacity at an outdoor ambient temperature of minus 15°F. The J-IVs offers efficiency levels up to 19.7 SEER and is available in 3- and 4-ton capacities, while the J-IV offers up to 19.8 SEER and is available in 3-, 4-, and 5-ton capacities. J-IV models also allow up to 150% connection capacity of indoor units.

Performance Series High Wall Ductless Systems – Carrier
Carrier launched a Performance™ Series high wall ductless system, including the 40MAHB indoor unit, 38MARB outdoor unit, and the multi-poise 40MBAA air handler. As the latest fully communicative additions in Carrier’s evolving ductless line of heating and cooling offerings, the products provide versatility and energy efficiency as well as single- and multi-zone capabilities. The indoor high wall 40MAHB unit provides SEER ratings up to 28.1 and HSPF ratings up to 13 and is available in sizes 9,000-36,000 Btu. The 40MBAA boasts SEER ratings up to 20 and HSPF ratings up to 10 and is available in sizes 24,000, 36,000, and 48,000 Btu. The 40MAHB indoor high wall unit includes the Airflow Direction feature, which automatically controls the louver direction up and down or left and right.

TwinCAT IoT Now Supports MindSphere® – Beckhoff
Beckhoff has offered diverse IoT communication capabilities with its TwinCAT IoT product family since 2015. Transmitting data to the cloud or between networked machines in this way creates enormous potential for increasing production efficiency. MindSphere®, the Industrial IoT as a service solution from Siemens, is now one of the latest solutions that can integrate with TwinCAT. TwinCAT 3 automation software can communicate with HTTP(S) servers as an HTTP(S) client, for example for exchanging data via a REST API. Establishing a connection with MindSphere® is now also possible via this HTTPS communication for exchanging telemetry data. This connection is secured by TLS (Transport Layer Security) and uses MindSphere®-specific authentication mechanisms.

HVLS Fans with Air Cleaning Technology – Greenheck
Greenheck high volume low speed (HVLS) fans can now be specified with electronic air cleaning technology. A needlepoint bipolar ionization (NPBI®) accessory is available on all models of Greenheck HVLS fans. The NPBI accessory, designed to be installed on the ceiling near the HVLS fan, includes a universal mounting kit for easy installation. The accessory is also self-cleaning for low maintenance. The NPBI system meets UL-867 and UL-2998 standards for ozone-free operation. Licensed to bear the Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) Seal for Circulating Fan Performance, Greenheck HVLS fans are available in model DS with three- and six-blade designs in sizes 8-24 feet and model DC with a five-blade design in sizes 8-14 feet.
