SIMOTICS SD200 Severe-Duty AC Motors – Siemens
Siemens’ SIMOTICS SD200 severe-duty motor in frame size 440 is the company’s latest offering in the low-voltage SIMOTICS motor family.
Providing high productivity and energy-efficient operation in all torque ranges, these new cast-iron National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) motors are built to power pumps, fans, compressors, hoists, winders, and similar equipment in harsh environments. The SD200 motors offer 75-800 hp output and feature 444-5013 cast-iron frames for operation in 460- to 575-V ranges. They meet or exceed NEMA Premium® MG1 Table 12-12 efficiencies. A wide selection of options is offered, including IP56 ingress protection, encoders, brakes, and blowers, plus others to suit the applications presented. On these motors, the frame; end-shields; fan guard; and easy-access, diagonally split, oversized terminal box are all cast-iron.
eFRAME Generator Enclosures – Kohler
Kohler Power’s eFRAME industrial generator enclosures exceed the stringent expectations of mission critical applications, namely data centers, including shortened lead times, ease of installation, service, and maintenance.
The eFRAME walk-in enclosure houses the Kohler KD Series of industrial generators at 2,000 kW and up and is available in three configurations — V12 (2,000-2,500 kW), V16 (2,800-3,250 kW) and V20 (3,500-4,000 kW). It is highly durable and features an all-aluminum skin and frame construction, a fade/scratch/corrosion-resistant powdered coat exterior, and is designed to meet or exceed 135-mph wind load rating.
Additionally, the entire power system is a totally integrated package with all components single-sourced from the Kohler factory, including engineering, manufacturing, and testing.

Vari-Green Hand/Off/Auto (HOA) Control – Greenheck
The Hand/Off/Auto (HOA) control is the latest addition to Greenheck’s line of Vari-Green® controls that optimize ventilation system efficiency.
The compact HOA control can replace a Vari-Green transformer and provides a 24-V power source from existing line voltage at the fan. The fan can be enabled by using a dry contact closure or by providing a voltage (12-120 V), allowing the control to easily integrate the fan into a variety of systems.
With only three buttons and an LED display, the compact HOA control is both user-friendly and functional. Users have the ability to run the fan in hand mode for balancing, troubleshooting, or to operate the fan before external controls are installed and operational. The control also has the ability to remotely enable the fan and use a speed reference that is set either on the HOA control or provided by a third party. A fireman’s mode provides another input to override all other modes and send the fan to any speed chosen, 0% or 20%-100%. The versatile unit can also be selected to operate as a stand-alone control or as an accessory to other Vari-Green controls.

Thermal-Stor Heat Pump Storage Tank – Lochinvar
Lochinvar announces the addition of Thermal-Stor™, a new storage tank line designed to complement Lochinvar commercial heat pumps. The storage tank’s patent pending baffle design reduces water velocity in the tank, keeping water hot by providing maximum stratification.
The new line includes models HP250G, HP500G, HP750G, and HP1000G. These units promote the benefits of stratification even more when installed in a bank to support heat pump operation by pulling water from the tanks in series rather than all the tanks at once in a parallel arrangement. Hot water enters and leaves one tank, reducing the opportunity for turbulent flow in the storage bank. If the system doesn’t need it, the tanks will continue to fill until water reserves are needed.

Quantech QWC4 Water-Cooled Screw Chiller – Johnson Controls
Johnson Controls Quantech™ QWC4 Water-Cooled Screw Chiller has been added to the brand’s expanded chiller portfolio. The chiller uses variable-speed drive technology to reduce energy costs and carbon emissions. Throughout most locations, the variable-speed drive saves energy during 99% of operating hours spent at off-design conditions, which include reduced load and/or reduced entering condenser water temperature.
Since the Quantech QWC4 screw chiller is capable of handling a higher-pressure lift than a centrifugal chiller, it can be used in both thermal storage and heat pump applications. The variable-speed drive technology provides the chiller flexibility in handling high-lift applications with the highest efficiencies available. This allows the chiller to use a wide range of heat-rejection methods, including an open cooling tower, dry cooler, adiabatic cooler, heat recovery, or heat pump.

Nelson AXPC100-CM-GP and CM-GP Digital Controllers – Emerson
Emerson launched a low-cost upgrade for electrical heat tracing systems with its Nelson AXPC100-CM-GP and CM-GP microprocessor-based digital controllers, engineered to accurately control, monitor, and maintain the process temperatures of industrial pipes or tanks in ordinary (nonhazardous) locations. Ideal for replacing aging electro-mechanical thermostats, the controllers achieve cost savings by eliminating the need for several components with a design that integrates sensor monitoring, ground fault leakage detection, and remote alarm contacts into a single enclosure.
Rugged and reliable, theses environmentally hardened controllers are housed in a NEMA 4X fiberglass reinforced, UV-resistant polymer enclosure resistant to rain, snow, hose-directed water, and windblown dust. Dual-pole heater switching adds to system versatility, making the controllers suitable for heater voltages from 120-277 VAC. Broad temperature capability of 32°-425°F (0°-218°C) increases the range of process operations where they can be installed to deliver outstanding performance, safety, and energy efficiency.
