IP67 SCP-X High-Output Power Supply – Emerson Automation Solutions
Emerson expanded its SolaHD™ SCP-X power supply line with a higher output model supplying 10-A, 24-Vdc output capacity. A compact, stand-alone power solution, the IP67 SCP-X High Output power supply has "L-Code" connections that enable the use of five-pin, L-Code M12 cables specifically designed for transmitting higher currents, especially in confined spaces. This unique connector design also ensures plant employees don't accidentally connect a load that requires a class-2 power source to a higher rated power supply, which would create a potential safety hazard. According to Mike Johnson, vice president of product marketing for SolaHD, by leveraging L-Code connectors in the new power supply, Emerson is helping to accelerate the adoption of L-Code cabling in automotive manufacturing and factory automation.

Draft-Block Orange Fire-Blocking Polyurethane Foam Sealant – RectorSeal
RectorSeal introduced Draft-Block™ Orange, a fire-blocking, expanding, polyurethane foam sealant. Draft-Block Orange is a filler that expands up to three times to fill, bond, and insulate a wide assortment of applications. As a low-pressure, one-component product, it adheres readily to wood, glass, metal, tile, concrete, and most plastics. Beyond its fire-blocking benefits, Draft-Block Orange helps to reduce sound transmission.
Available in a 12-ounce aerosol can, Draft-Block Orange fills voids, cracks, crevices, and small cavities on flat and irregular surfaces. After curing, Draft-Block Orange is an odorless, noncorrosive, nonreactive inert substance.

VACON 1000 Medium Voltage Drive – Danfoss
Danfoss Drives, a provider of AC drive technology, expanded its medium voltage drives product portfolio with the new VACON® 1000 medium voltage drive. Based on Danfoss’s experience in advanced AC drive technologies, the VACON 1000 air-cooled MV drive is designed for industrial medium voltage general purpose applications, especially for variable torque loads, such as pumps and fans.
Available in voltages from 2.4 kV up to 11 kV, the VACON 1000 offers a small footprint in the medium voltage drive industry below 215 A for an air-cooled MV drive. Its stand-alone design allows for simple and safe installation and fast commissioning, while its modular design ensures easy spare parts management and maintenance. The well-equipped, basic configuration can be extended with a wide range of options.
Built for reliability, the VACON 1000 features a high mean time between failures (MTBF) that enables up to 200,000 hours of nonstop operation, detailed fault monitoring for reduced downtime, and a redundant cooling fan option that reduces downtime due to potential fan failures.

Thermal Energy Meters – Belimo Americas
Belimo Americas released a new line of thermal energy meters designed to EN1434 for accurate flow and energy measurement and equipped for IoT-based billing. The energy meters have a patented glycol compensation algorithm that automatically selects the correct glycol concentration to provide proper flow and energy measurement, ensuring reliable performance, and eliminating manual input and inaccuracy from hydronic heating and cooling systems. Key features include optional Power over Ethernet (PoE), which simplifies installation; BAS integration via BACnet MSTP/BACnet IP and Modbus RTU Modbus IP; easy to set or adjust parameters using NFC or a web server; Ethernet connectivity that supports remote IoT metering and billing; and a built-in data logger that captures energy, flow, and operational data for system optimization and efficiency.
The thermal energy meters, 22PE series, incorporate an ultrasonic transit time technology with no moving parts, eliminating wear over time. Each unit is individually wet calibrated to ensure accuracy and repeatability over the life of the product. The 22PE series offers reliable measurement of energy consumed, providing customers with the information required to analyze their consumption and control costs. The series is now available in sizes ½ to 2 inches.

Wrot Racer Push Fittings – NIBCO Inc.
NIBCO Inc.’s Wrot Racer® push fittings represent a new line of premium copper push fittings that are engineered to join copper, CPVC-CTS, PEX, and PE-RT (with stiffeners) for easy transition between piping systems. With a patented fitting design, installations are easily made within seconds.
Wrot Racer push fittings are manufactured in the U.S. of 99.9% pure wrot copper. Naturally lead-free, the fittings feature antimicrobial properties and zero dezincification, providing for safe, clean drinking water connections for both residential and commercial applications.
Available in ½- to 1-inch sizes, the lightweight and compact Wrot Racer fittings are able to be installed wet or dry and can handle applications up to 200 psi and 200°F. The fittings feature stainless steel gripper rings to ensure a secure connection. Baldor-Reliance Generation 3 RPM AC motors, from 1-1,750 hp, with customizable speed ranges in nearly any enclosure type, are designed to handle demanding applications in industries, such as chemical, oil, and gas; plastics; HVAC; energy; forest products; and metals and industrial automation.
RPM AC motors are optimized for adjustable frequency service, not just a re-rate or over-framing of a standard motor. All Baldor-Reliance RPM AC motors are designed to provide continuous constant torque from base speed down to and including zero speed, and, unlike conventional sine wave motors, this means the RPM AC motor will generate full-rated torque, run continuously, and not overheat at any speed below base speed. Above base speed, RPM AC produces constant horsepower up to its maximum capabilities.
Gen 3 offers an extended power range, standard grounding provisions, easy setup and deployment, and, when combined with optional ABB Ability™ smart sensor technology, connectivity and data analytics can be accessed by users and technicians on-site or remotely.
