Updated KNIGHT XL Commercial Boiler – Lochinvar
Lochinvar unveiled the next generation of its KNIGHT® XL commercial boiler product family. Available in five models, ranging from 399,000-1 million Btu/hr, the units feature a 97% thermal efficiency, a 10:1 turndown ratio, and an updated heat exchanger.
The new KNIGHT XL models offer extended venting (up to 150 feet), backside connections, and the ability to cascade multiple units for increased output, making it ideal for retrofit and new construction applications. It also comes standard with CON·X·US® Remote Connectivity and SMART TOUCH™ operating control technology, providing contractors and facility managers with connectivity and system control for easy monitoring and adjustments.

Expanded CRS Coalescing-Style Air & Sediment Separator Line – Bell & Gossett
Bell & Gossett, a Xylem brand, has expanded its CRS Coalescing-Style Air & Sediment Separator product line. The extended CRS line — available for use in any HVAC system — helps break entrained air and suspended solids out of system fluid, efficiently removing these contaminants and improving heat transfer and energy efficiency. With lower energy use and its robust design, the CRS helps protect pumps, boilers, and other components, improving and prolonging the life of a system. The CRS separator’s internal coalescing media efficiently removes up to 100% of fluid contaminants, including entrained and free air and suspended solids out of HVAC systems, improving heat transfer capabilities, and resulting in energy efficiencies.

Bi-Polar Ionization Air Cleaning System – Boston Air Solutions
Boston Air Solutions (BAS) recognized the potential for advanced needlepoint bi-polar ionization (NPBI) air cleaning technologies as a strategic weapon against airborne transmission of pathogens but without creating harmful ozone so indoor air is completely safe to breathe. BAS’ NPBI system has been tested by independent laboratories and proven to reduce the volume of infectious airborne pathogens, including coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2. When ions are dispersed throughout a space, such as an office or classroom, they come in contact with pathogens and disrupt surface proteins, rendering them inactive and unable to spread. The ions also target particles by combining and clustering them for filtration systems to easily capture. In addition to pathogens and particulates, the air cleaning ionization technology also reduces volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and eliminates odors.

Potable Water Ball and Butterfly Valves – Belimo
Belimo is has released a new range of potable water ball and butterfly valves to control flow for drinking water and food/beverage applications. These National Sanitation Foundation (NSF)-certified valves offer lead-free brass bodies (ball valves) and ductile iron ASTM A536 (butterfly valves) for on/off or floating point control with operating ranges up to 230 psi, depending on the series. Belimo's new potable valve assemblies are certified by the NSF/ANSI-61-G via the methods and values defined in NFS 372 to ensure customer safety. Sinamics G115D Distributed Drive System – Siemens
With its new Sinamics G115D, Siemens is introducing a new, compact and powerful drive system specifically designed for horizontal conveyor applications. The drive system comprises the motor, drive, and gearbox in one unit and is offered in two versions — wall-mounted and motor-mounted. The Sinamics G115D drive system is characterized by a robust design with a high IP protection class (up to IP66 / UL Type 4X) and is suitable for use in harsh environments. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the Sinamics G115D can be easily installed in confined areas. The drive system can also be operated reliably over a wide temperature range of minus 30°C to 55°C (minus 22°F to 131°F), enabling operation in deep freezing applications.
AquaForce 30XV Variable-Speed Air-Cooled Screw Chiller – Carrier
Carrier has announced the availability of evaporative pre-cooling technology on Carrier’s AquaForce® 30XV product line. This technology harnesses the power of evaporation to lower ambient air temperatures entering Carrier’s 30XV chiller – helping to reduce chiller power consumption, increase reliability, and extend the life of the chiller. Evaporative pre-cooling technology works by spraying a fine mist of water within patented, pre-cooling frames, which are attached to Carrier’s 30XV chiller. As air is pulled across the pre-cooling frames and into the chiller, the outside air is cooled via evaporation. This technology operates using a sophisticated controller employing algorithms that spray the least amount of water needed to achieve optimal evaporation, thus delivering the highest energy savings with the lowest water usage. In addition, this technology can be added to virtually any existing air-cooled chiller to help enhance performance.

PS9xxx Buffer and Redundancy Modules – Beckhoff Automation
The new PS9xxx buffer and redundancy modules extend the universal 24/48-V DC power supply series from Beckhoff. These new modules provide more efficient options to avoid machine and plant downtime and, as a result, increase system availability. With the supplementary PS9xxx modules, the PS power supply series, and the CU81xx UPS series, Beckhoff offers a complete and coordinated range of solutions for reliable power supply in the 24- and 48-V DC range. The PS90xx buffer modules prevent disturbances caused by voltage dips and fluctuations in the electrical grid or by peak loads so that the power supply units and connected loads can operate reliably and without failure. For this purpose, the buffer modules store energy via maintenance-free electrolytic capacitors and release it as required. In this way, power failures, for example, can be effectively bridged.

Electrically Operated Transfer Switches – KOHLER Power Systems

On the main front panel of the transfer switch is a series of status indicators and controls.
